In consonance with the national policy on Education(NPE),1986 of University Grants Commission, Delhi Technological University established Human Resource Development Centre under section 7(13) of the Delhi Technological University Act, 2009 with effect from 1st January 2018 HRDC will be focused to the crucial development of quality ensured delivery of education to continuous knowledge up-gradation, capacity building and motivation of teachers for accepting challenges arising from new research and advancement in technology and recent trends of breaking barriers of subject related to science and technology.

    Know About

    Delegation of Powers

    The Director of the HRDC will be the Academic, Administrative and Financial Executive officer of the Centre. They will be responsible for its functions and activities. He/she will have the powers to sanction expenditure upto Rs. 50,000/- at a time. In addition he/she will have the powers to make payments of TA/DA to resource persons and participants of the programmes.

    The Vice-Chancellor of the host University will have the following powers:

  • To appoint academic staff in the HRDC.
  • To appoint non-teaching staff in the HRDC on the recommendations of the Director.
  • To relax the provision of these guidelines in view of special circumstances of any case, on the recommendation of the Director, to be recorded in writing, for allowing activities in the interest of smooth functioning of HRDC.
